Last night we went to the first annual Christmas dinner at our new church.  The dinner was simple but tasty.  After, the primary kids performed a short Nativity presentation.  They were dressed in costumes (angels, shepherds, Mary, Joseph, 3 wise men) and just loked so cute and serious that it brought tears to many of the audience.  some of the children, as young as 4 years old, sang songs on the microphone.  the courage it took for them to stand up there and perform in front of oll of us was beyond words.  It brought back memories of when my kids were young and doing the same thing.  I don't think I appreciated it as much then as I did last night.  funny how age (maturity) gives a different feeling about things that were at one time taken for granted.  For those of you that have your chance now to experience this with your children and grand-children, I encourage you...DO NOT MISS OUT.....the memories are more precious than the present.
