Everyone has some sort of to do list or system for managing tasks.  It can be as simple as a stack of post-its taped to a computer monitor or a handwritten list of tasks or a more sophisticates system like Outlook or other software programs.  However, all too often the task list is trumped by the most recent e-mail or telephone call with a new hot issue.  However, a good back-up system may just be one of these free automated reminder systems.

Remindr.info (E-Mail Reminders):  Schedule e-mail reminders on a future date.  No registration required.  Uses GMT or universal time for scheduling.

Textmemos.com (Text Message Reminders):  Send an automated text message with a future reminder to yourself or to others.  No registration required.

Gopingme.com (Text Message & E-Mail Reminders):  Send an email reminder or text message with a future reminder to yourself or other registered users.  Registration is required.

These technologies offer other intriguing uses for DRIP e-mail campaigns to prospects or for seasonal reminders and other contacts with existing customers.  There are other software and paid services for such campaigns.  If you use automated reminders or e-mail, text or other media campaigns in your practice, please share your experiences by posting a comment.

Bill:  The DRIP system in Point2Agent.com is a paid service (my recollection anyway).  The closest thing on this post to such a system would be LetterMeLater.com.  Post was really intended simply as a review of free automated task reminders.
