This is for all you bah-humbugs out there wo are resisting putting up the Christmas decorations. This isn't normally something I would reblog, but I have just laughed my &$*# off. Everyone needs a little Monday humor, right?

So my wife has been on my case to get the Christmas lights up for a couple of weeks now. I tend to put things off until I am ready. Well I finally took care of business!

They are up now and for some reason my wife will not talk to me.

This joke was sent to me from a friend and it just made me laugh!

Don't know why she has a problem with it. Makes it nice and easy to get down to.

Sometimes when a person wants something done, they have to be very specific. Take care and thanks for the laugh.

Somehow I just expected more from Charles...guess you never really know someone until you see their Christmas decorations..LOL

Hey, I think I did a BPO on that house last July! Or maybe it was down the street from one of my listings. I forget...

That's about right. Very funny and Ba Hum Bug on the lights. Waaaaaaaaaaaay too much like work :)

I think my neighbors may have been having a power struggle around their house a few years ago. Mr. Neighbor wadded up strands of multi colored lights and put them in terra cotta pots all along their front porch. It worked out for him because it looks pretty cool when they are lit up at night. They've been decorating this way @ Christmas for years now!

Look at this. Another Good husband does as he was told asked and then the wife gets upset with the quality of the work.

JESSE, I'm not even letting my husband see that as he might get ideas. He did put our decorations up early but with much groaning. I have to admit he has been recovering from knee surgery which was caused by FISHING IN ALASKA.

Jesse, That's hilarious....now you aren't going to follow suit???? Hope not. You gotta admire the originality. She never said how - and he did exactly what she asked him to....

I love that. I showed my husband, I think it gave him some ideas.

This is great, Jesse! And it deals with two frustrations at once - the hassle of getting them out and climbing a ladder to string them in the cold, and the fact that so often they are in a big knot that takes longer to untangle than it does to hang them! I always think I tie them carefully when I put them away, but some gremlin sneaks into the box and tangles them during the year somehow!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Why? It's a Christmas "ball"! My tree is up since the day before Thanksgiving! A friend of mine talked me into it and I'm happy he did!

Jesse - obviously it was another one of the cases of miscommunication, the wife saw one thing and the husband another. Been there, done that, have the tee shirt, have learned to ask follow up questions.

This cracks me up. I could see this happening if I attempted to hang lights myself. Frustration would get the best of me. LOL!
