Do you have time for a quick Prayer for a fellow Rainer?

Kara Casamassinaone of the devoted Active Rainers is in need of some pleasant Thoughts this Wednesday. I am Hardly the holy roller type, but I figure an extra prayer or two wont hurt. And if you don't do the "prayer thing" cross your fingers and toes, knock on wood... or what ever my float your boat!

Kara Is having Surgery on Wednesday December 10th...

I asked her if was ok to spread this around in the rain, here is her response:

Hey Rob,
Thanks for asking first! I really haven't told a lot of people about the gallbladder. It came up in one of our group chats, so mirela, greg and a couple others know, and you - but that is about it. I don't mind the extra prayers - it can only help! I just don't want any of my active rain friends to be upset that I didn't tell them first, you know what I mean. I don't even know what I mean sometimes, lol. Anyway, yes - that is fine with me. Wednesday is the day, and my surgeon is Dr. Terry, let's pray for him too :)

The best part of the Rain is the support group we have. Lets show our support for Kara

Robert, thanks for being a good friend to Kara, and Kara you're going to be fine, I feel it inside :-) Be pulling for you on Wesnesday.

My prayers are with Kara. I know she'll be fine.

I knew Kara's surgery was this week, but did not know it was scheduled for Wednesday. I will certainly say a prayer. I have a good one I always use: I pray for the doctor to have a very good night's rest and to be at his best for the surgery. So far it's worked like a charm.

Gallbladder surgery by Laparascopy is done with minimal invasion. My mother has had it and she fared very well. The care afterward is very important and I'm sure Kara will be a good patient and take good care of herself. I expect an exceptional outcome and I have very good intuition about Kara's surgery.

Thank you for the post! I believe in the power of prayer.

Rob, I'm thinking I'm late, but you know I would have prayed for Kara if I wasn't drinking with you! Lol! I hope all turned out well.

Hope all went well...having had four minor surgeries this year...they are only minor when they aren't yours ! Happy healing Kara !

Thank you Everyone! I was at my local Real Estate Convention Last Saturday when I received a note from Kara (what the heck did I ever do w/o a Blackberry?) She said everything went well.

Glad everything turned out well for Kara. I am not the holy roller type (at all!), but I did cross a few items in honor of her - fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes - well, maybe not the eyes, but I did think about it so hopefully that counts :)

Robert, you are a true friend. I admire your concern for Kara and the fact that you want to help lessen her discomfort by encouraging AR'ers to pray for her. I'm sorry I didn't read your post sooner; I believe I'm too late. It's currently Wednesday evening. I would have certainly said a prayer for Kara. However, I hope she's resting well now and I'm sure she's relieved that the surgery is finally over with.
