Agents, tell your buyers and sellers to be aware. This market is hard enough, but when one person can control your destiny we are in trouble. I just had the worst appraisal from the most incompetent appraiser ever. My deal went bad because of his inaccurate and lack of knowledge in the area. The appraiser was suppose to be a local expert. What a joke that was.... He used the lowest possible comps that he could find and put his own spin on why. His information was so incorrect that you have to stop and wonder what the heck is going on.
I'm trying to get a value reconsideration, but that's not as easy as it sounds. If anyone has any ideas on how I can turn this around I'm open for suggestions. I'm hoping and trying to think positive thoughts, but I'm so mad I can scream.
