Well, I say "hysterical" since, on the inside of these houses, was a "pass-through" where one could open a small door, and actually see into the neighbors house. This house was a challenge for me to write the report on.
Ohio and WV aren't the only ones with houses like this, Kevin! Mountain towns in Colorado with Victorian homes are VERY similar! Previous owners of our house had spanned and attached our garage roof, to the side of the neighbors house, with permission of course. Do inspectors just figure out how to deal with this stuff in their own areas? I don't remember what our inspector told us about that "issue"...
