Kevin, it is the "original" townhouse concept----could be "historical"----or "hysterical"----either one:)

Well, I say "hysterical" since, on the inside of these houses, was a "pass-through" where one could open a small door, and actually see into the neighbors house. This house was a challenge for me to write the report on.

I swear I've seen this place before.  Where is it at?

This I believe is in Wheeling W. Va, or if not there then Martins Ferry, Ohio, just across the river.

I did 5 inspections down there, so it got a little confusing after a year has gone by.

Ohio and WV aren't the only ones with houses like this, Kevin! Mountain towns in Colorado with Victorian homes are VERY similar!  Previous owners of our house had spanned and attached our garage roof, to the side of the neighbors house, with permission of course.  Do inspectors just figure out how to deal with this stuff in their own areas?  I don't remember what our inspector told us about that "issue"...

Kevin this looks like a lot of older towns along the river.  East Liverpool and East Palestine come to mind.  Spent some time working up that way.

I need space and a yard and no shared walls...this would have to be a vacation rental at the beach.

Jim... very funny indeed! Don't forget to mention the covered. partially enclosed patio area.

Jack, you are right.

Rich, river bank... maybe.... beach? No

Howdy Kevin

Have not come along any thing like that, in these parts as of yet.

I sure would not want to be that neighborly, thats for sure.

God Bless America

Yes, that's a bit too close for my comfort, too.

Jim, I think I want you to write my eulogy... it would probably be a lot more colorful!

Wow, that is close!  Isn't this just considered a condo?  Sure looks like condo living to me!
