Copper Lakes, affordable new homes for seniors and a gated residential community under development in northern Greenville County South Carolina, has announced that they will temporarily halt the project until economic conditions improve.  The development, which is north of Travelers Rest, will have about 550 home sites with a working farm and market.  The affordable new homes for Seniors will be built as noted by Developer Burruoughs & Chapin who say that they are still fully committed to the project and the Upstate.

We've had the same type comments in our Sarasota newspapers.  Times are tough, but "fully committed" is good!  Greenville is a great area and will thrive when the economy recovers.
