Howdy! I'm new to blogging, but figure this is the perfect way to share info about my region. I'm located in Bastrop, County TX and we're centrally located b/w Austin, San Antonio and Houston. This area has such a wide variety of home styles and terrains, that it's got something to offer for just about anyone. The Lost Pines, Colorado River, Bastrop & Buescher State Park (they are back to back and are a wonderful asset to our county), Lost Pines Hyatt Resort, and numerous Golf Courses.
The Real Estate market in Bastrop County is still doing well. Bastrop has seen much commercial/residential growth due to the closeness to Austin. Bastrop County has also had great exposure due to the filming industry. We've had several major motion pictures filmed in this area over the last few years.
