Never ceases to amaze me..all of the scams and to tell the truth, I am always somewhat put-off by someone I do not know calling me "Buddy"!

I get these "off the wall" e-mails also. Usually with a very odd name attached...Just Delete!!
I recieved the exact same email today. It is in my bulk folder right now. I wonder if he got our email addresses off of Active Rain. It is so sad that we have crooks like this in our world. Of all things to try and take advantage of.

I got several warnings today that activerain was trying to send me a dangerous virus! That's a new one for me.

These scams make my blood boil! It's so sad because there a vulnerable people who will fall for them.
Jon,
I just copy them and email them to AR under the heading "more spam." Then I delete them. You might want to break the active link in your comment above--just highlight the url address and hit the "broken chain link" to inactivate it.
