Leesa Finlay tagged me again, this time to find someone who could be considered a hidden gem in the rain. The hidden gem I nominate is Bo Hussung,  not to be confused with the Johan Hussong who started Hussong's Cantina in  Ensenada. That's him on the right, well, maybe when he had more hair.

Bo Hussung serves up better nectar than Corona beer or cheap tequila. Bo is one of the most supportive members of Active Rain, always having positive comments, or, if in disagreement, voicing that difference in a positive way.

His posts and comments are always pertinent and relevant (is that redundant?) reflecting the name of his company, Cogent. Bo is an asset to Active Rain, I know that I always pay attention to his comments, although I admit, I miss a lot of his posts because he does not often post to the same groups that I read regularly. My apoligies, Bo!

Here are a few of his posts:

An afternoon with Ms. Hussung!

So, if you get the chance, check out Bo's Blog - you may just end up subscribing.

With so many bloggers joining Active Rain daily it can be difficult to keep up with them.  Why not showcase one of your favorites?  Here are some rules for Hidden Gems in the Rain - now, go on out and find a sparkler to share with the rest of us!

Here are the rules:

  • Go find yourself a "Hidden Gem" in the Rain....a post or member that was not recognized that you feel should be noticed.
  • Write a post about why you chose your particular member and/or post, include a link to their blog in your post, and tag 2 other members to do the same as you...
  • Your blog title should include " Hidden Gem in the Rain "
  • Post it to Hidden Gems in the Rain as well as any other groups you feel would fit the guidelines for this.  Send an email with a link to the post you have written to the members telling them that they have been tagged and that it's their turn to do the same...and give back in the rain...as well as your "chosen" member to find another gem.

So, I chose to tag 2 people to post their hidden gems. Those two are:

Well, this might be cheating a bit, but, the first person tha I am going to tag with this will be Bo.

The second person I am tagging is Michelle Derepentigny from Athens. Michelle writes some terrific stuff but blogs mostly off of Active Rain. She has a wealth of knowledge to share and is also a gifted writer/blogger. Go ahead and check her out. Her most recent post is very moving.

Great way to recognize a positive contributor to active rain and to also let people know about these people who have something to share.

Mike~ Leesa has been such a great advocate of mine and for that...I am grateful. Not only has she been a great supporter, but she turned me on to you and now, you've shared Bo with me...I look forward to tagging my person very soon...just trying to figure out who as there are so many to pick from! ;0

Mike, I should be ashamed for waiting so long to thank you for this. There are not many times in a professionals life or personal life for that matter that they have someone say so many nice things about them. I am honored and frankly, blessed. Your words and the comments that followed gave /give me a grand feeling.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I owe you a single malt (Balvenie 21 year Portwood or maybe Macallan 18) a great jazz CD (Monk, Meldhau, Miles or perhaps a Marsalis) and great debt of gratitude.

Enjoy your holiday

Bo
