I am very impressed with our buyers right now!

The web traffic to my site www.HomesAndLandByMarie.com has had a huge influx of traffic over the last three months.

This is telling me although they are not buying today, that the buyers are doing a very good job of educating themselves and making the preparation necessary to be ready to buy there homes in 2009.

The months of inventory show we are definitely in a BUYERS MARKET. What all this means to the consumer is that this is a good time to buy because the interest rates for a mortgage are at an extremely low point, mortgage money is still available and sellers are willing to help pay closing costs in many cases. Your choices of resale homes are at a very high percentage now and my web traffic shows me that buyers are out there.

We have lots of buyers out there too, but as you said they are spending time doing research, seeing everything that is available and doing part of our job for us. We were talking in my office today, about how buyers don't rely on REALTORS to find properties anymore, they find listings themselves, and then call us for showings and to prepare contracts.

Interest rates are low right now, inventory is way up...There has never been a better time to be a buyer!

It sure pays the buyer to take some time and do their research. Especially now that there are so many properties to chose from, the one that do some research will end up owning some nice real estate.
