I like numbers 38 and 39.  Despite a slower market in New York City struggling homeowners want somebody who is realistic and optimistic.  We tell our sellers that the market is not what it was just a couple of months ago, the fundamentals of the financial and real estate markets have shifted quickly and dramatically, but we are confident that we can help them achieve their goals.  Its tough because their is a huge disconnect for some sellers who bought last year and their property isnt worth what they bought for.

Good post... at the RIS leadership conference in NYC earlier this year I heard a few speakers state that agents need to do more, deliver more and follow through on their promises.  Since then, I have talked with lots of top agents who all agree that the best agents, the ones who will survive this current down turn, will offer more value to their clients.  Whether that is better market information, better marketing tools or better follow through.  There will always be business for those people who provide better service.  Keep up the good work and the positive attitude!

Frank-The cat woman is a metaphor for the way we need to change the way we do things.

Morgan-We all need to put forth a positive front to get people to think positive with us.

Jeff-Hopefully enough agents and mortgage people will service so we can continue to do business.
