Making cookies for the Holidays:

Mike Hendricks knows the difference in cookies.  Mike is a cell phone game programer and says he does not consider himself a cook but rather makes cookies because he does not like the ready made cookies. 

Mike according to the St. Joseph News-Press entered his "cookie recipe" in the Cook's Country best holiday cookie contest, placing runner up in the national contest.  Mike credits his wife for her help who also has some cooking contest experience as well.  Mrs. Hendricks won the Cook's Country grand price about 3 years ago.

Dona, Mike is not alone with his talent. I make the pies at my house. Freaks the other ladies out at Thanksgiving gatherings. But they dive in with the eating though. Good for Mike and his cookies.

I just tried to look at the recipe and it said the link is broken. Would you mind sending me another link or sending me the recipe directly? I love trying to sweets and I am excited to try this. Thank you for sharing, I am not sure why it is not allowing it to be viewed right now.
