I just got home from The Carteret County Association of REALTORS and Crystal Coast MLS, Inc. Annual Installation and Awards Banquet.  What a wonderful time and what wonderful people I have the pleasure of working with.  Sitting at my table were 3 WCR Past Presidents, one of which is currently serving as Past President of our Local Association.  Paula Stadiem was sitting to my right, she was awarded REALTOR of the Year.  Marian Goetzinger sat to my left, she is the outgoing Local Chapter President for WCR.  Across from me was Angie O'bey, Past President of Local Chapter WCR and Treasurer for the MLS Board.  I felt so honored to be in the presence of such successful and dedicated REALTORS. 

Not sitting at our table were other winners, who are also members of our local WCR Chapter.  Sherrie Ferraro of Wachovia won Affiliate of the Year for WCR and the Local Association. Kathryn Gorham of Greenkey Properties won the Presidents Award for WCR and was also installed as WCR Local Chapter President Elect.  Cathy Gainey of Century 21 won the Community Service Award. Daniel Nicholson,The 2009 Local Association President is very excited and positive about the year to come and is already thinking about how CCAR and WCR can work together in 2009. It will be a pleasure working with him and making 2009 a great year.

Our Executive Officer of our Local Association of REALTORS is Brenda Roney.  She is also a member and supporter of WCR.  Along with Jodi Laird, admin. assistant at our local board, they planned a wonderful Installation and dinner for all of us.  It was a beautiful and fun-filled evening.
