11 Comments on I Wish My Car Would SHUT UP!
I would have been emabarassed as well, but what a great conversation piece. I am sure at some point it just became plain funny. Hope you get the time to make it for service...or maybe not?!?!?!
Sounds like your car is begging for a service. Better that than breaking down while showing homes.
I would take it in before you end up stranded.
I would make it a high priority I think your vehicle and how you care for it is a reflection of you since this is your office that we spend most of our time in.
It can be annoying! I would also take it in and have it checked before it doesn't start, that would really be embarassing!
when my navigation is on I feel that way, when I am on the phone, I did not realize that my navigation can be heard better than I can.... :)
Valerie - yes, it was a good giggle.
Ellie & Shane - I swear....I'll get it serviced. The darn car tells me that I need to change by oil every 3,000 miles....it's just a pain in the tush. :)
Heather - yes, my Ford Explorer is my "4-Wheel Office" !
Tony & Darcy - I love the "low fuel" thingy...it will tell me I have 50 miles to "empty".
Konnie - I don't have one of those GPS/Tom-Tom things....it would drive me crazy telling where to turn.
Christine - My 'check engine' light has been on for over 6 months - I just ignore it - VW needs to reset it and I take it to my local guy who does not have the ability to reset the senor when he does my work - oh well, I will live with the light - he is A LOT cheaper than going to the dealer!!!
Those are not as bad as when my airbag light was on and I rounded a corner and all of the airbags went off! Talk about a reality check, if a light is on, my car is at the shop immediately!
Barbara-Jo - I've been ignoring it too. My "low tire pressure" sensor is on the SPARE TIRE also. ANd it's the one that is low. I don't want to lay on the ground to put air in a Spare !
Jason - Wow, that is "really scary". I'll have to get my manual out and see what the airbag signal is on my car. That one does worry me.
My husband had a check engine light on for months and it finally went away, he thinks it's fine now! lol. I would not follow his example though.
