Targeting Foreclosed Homes

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with LaserShield DIRECT

I thought this comment from the Washington Post was interesting:

"In some localities, officers are targeting vacant houses on regular patrols, using maps of foreclosed properties as guides, while working with community watch groups to identify trouble spots. Empty driveways, overgrown lawns, realty signs, lockboxes and "No Trespassing" notices in windows are all signals to would-be violators, police said."

We continue to get orders for home alarms from property owners, banks, builders who are sick and tired of having the double whammy of being ripped off and vandalized.

We are currently offering a two month free trial of our monitoring service, along with a 10% discount on every home alarm system through the end of the year.  Give yourself or your clients the gift of peace of mind this season.

I actually have a vacant foreclosure that someone keeps going back into and vandelizing., even after we board it up....unfortunately for me, the bank did not do the eviction the right way, so apparently we can't call the police, because the people still have a right (former owners) to enter the property....go

More security will likely be needed by a lot of people. Have a good holiday season.

Does the seller have to sign a 12-month contract or can it be month-to-month?  I can't see anybody going much longer than monthly if they are in foreclosure.

Thanks for all the comments - I thought I would reply to everyone:

Affiliate Program - we do offer one, it is not advertised on our web site.  I really like to personally select affiliates who are serious about the opportunity.  We are selective because with most affiliate programs people tend to sign up and not do much with the program.  If you are interested, please email me at bryan@lasershielddirect.com

Contract - unlike most alarm companies, our monitoring contracts are month-to-month.  I think this is what makes it appealing to folks with rental or forclosed properties because they (hopefully!) only need the monitoring service for 1-3 months.

Happy Holidays! Bryan
