Please, someone explain to me all of the serious issues that Active Rain is having. First, I get some Proxy Srtting message quite often. Yesterday I could not even sign in and it seems that something changed my password. Everytime I tried to sign in, it would kick me back to the sign in page and would not let me access my account. I tried to get my password sent to my email address and a message came from Active Rain saying they considered my email address a spam email????? Now I am finally on the site but none of my replies on blogs are being sent. I am not even sure if this blog will post. Any insight would be helpful(I would love someone from Active Rain Management to reply. I like Active Rain and hope to continue to use it, but with so many negative issues, I'm not sure if its worth it.
There seem to be a lot of problems and everyone is experiencing them -- sounds like they are working on them.
Nate - I'm sorry you're having problems. Many of us were having problems yesterday. I thought they were fixed today. I would try emailing Brad Andersohn. He knows a lot and is always willing to help! :)
I had the same problem logging in yesterday. Once I logged in the page would not load. It seems to be fine today.
Sounds like you are frustrated. The temporary problems are due to systems growth. There will be tech posts to keep you up to speed. I find that when there is an issue it resolves quickly. The minor inconvenience of not getting to comment for 1/2 a day is nothing compared to the value of the peer group. hang in there or not, your choice. cheryl(I love it here warts and all)willis
Nate, hang-in there. Bob posted an article that is on the dashboard about just this very issue. With so many changes, additions and new members things somethings get a little challenging but this is the best social network out there so stay put, sit down and wait for the ride!
nate, I felt the same way when I first started, the good thing to know is that when you are having problems , everyone on Active Rain is having the same ones
