One client = Three Transactions - Very unusual

What are the chances of this happening? Maybe more than people think!

I sold a home for some clients around two years ago and found them a different home to move into. So There were two transaction sales made from one client, not unusual.

Then as down as the market is and the prices at a all time low, my clients purchased their old home back and keep the other one they moved into.

My clients new business did so well in the last couple of years, it gave them the power to purchase their old home back. They use one for a rental and live in the other one. They are interested in purchasing another home next year for another rental. I will keep my fingers crossed.

So never underestimate one potential client!

Has this ever happened to you?

 Is this very unusual?

I haven't had that happen to me yet.  However, I did sell a house to some clients who later divorced.  They sold that house, and each of them bought homes from me.  So, that resulted in four transactions from the same contact. Unfortunately, with divorce rates, that is probably more common than the scenario you described here.

This is not unusual at all if you provide quality service and become friends with your clients.  My mother's business is 95% referrals from past clients, and past clients themselves.  They call her for everything!

Robert- I actually have an agent working for me that first bought a summer home here on the lake from me, then listed that one (and it sold) with me, and purchased a full time home on the lake from me.  Now he's an agent for me.  In fact about half of my agents began as clients.

I also had a client with 3 transactions in a couple of years.  It's very gratifying when they stick with you like that isn't it.

Sold 3 family members a home in the same subdivision at one open house.....now why don't people want to hold open houses?

Robert, I've been able to take several "bites out of the apple" with my clients, but never had one that bought back their previous home!  Just curious, did they buy it for more or less than they sold it for?
