I have been wishing I was still in Hawaii all this week. It has been snowing all day today here and I was not ready for it. I was on facebook a few minutes ago and found a post about the flooding in Hawaii. here is a link to all of the crazyness. http://www.khnl.com/global/story.asp?s=9506720 I just talked to family that lives there to see if they were ok and they are. It looks like a mess over there. I hope nobody was hurt in the path of mudslides, raging rivers, and high winds. It seemed like a paradise to me while I was there. That is how I will remember it.
Hi Randy, I have never been to Hawaii but these pictures are not how I imagine it to be! If I ever go, I'll check the weather first. :-)
Well, it's still paradise to me! Still raining today...and yes we had damage....flooding, mud slides....
Not often...but after it clears up....will have those blue skies again!
Randy, what a mess. I guess there are pros and cons to anywhere we live. I'd still like to go to Hawaii some day. After the mud clears.
Shirley,
This won't keep me from going back. It took me almost 50 years to get there my first time. I don't think this kind of weather is real common.

And rainbows! I absolutely loved my trip there. Wow Real Estate prices were a bit of a shock to me. How is business?

It is a great place to visit. I hope you get there soon. Good Luck
Randy, I've never been to Hawaii, but since blogging on Active Rain, I've really gotten a urge to go there!
What a great photo. Hawaii is one my favorite spots in the world. Have a great holiday season,
T
Patricia,
This was my first trip there. I loved it and will definitely plan to go back ASAP. That may still be many years but I certainly want to return. Thanks for your comment.
Terry,
Thanks for the compliment. I used to fancy myself a photographer. Now I have a simple point and shoot digital camera. I miss the creative aspects of the SLR camera but I am quite often amazed at the pictures I get from this digital camera. Thanks for your comment.
