Appraisers directory

Hi my name is Gary Schmitz and I am the owner of a few real estate related directories. I just launched a new directory in Feb. 07 and it has an Appraisers category. I am looking for some quality sites to join. Although this site was just launched in Feb. '07 it is alread ranking for affordable real estate , Affordable Alabama Appraisers and some others on Google. Also check out my other Rea Estate directory that has a blog and the blog is open to the members to post about their services and link to their site. This is great free advertising and the blog posts are ranking with Google. Let me know if you have any questions. All my directories are open to anything Real Estate related.

Gary,

Thanks for sharing your site with us! I have a few questions for you:

-Who do you market the site to? How do you gain exposure?

-Is there a fee to sign up as an appraiser? How much is it to be a sponsor or partner, and how long can a company keep a direct link be on the main home page?

-Is there a licensing minimum?

-How does an appraiser sign up?

Ok let me just start from the top.

- I market the site, by optimizing it for the search engines and advertising in the forums and sites like this. Other agents see my site and submit as well and you could get some traffic to your site that way. Right now the site is2 months old and you can find it on page 1 of Google for affordable arizona appraisers and other states as well.

- There are three options right now Featured $29.99/year which your link appears above all other links. Regular Link is $9.99/year and then their is a reciprocal link option. The reciprocal link option is where you put a link to my directory on a page on your site that is cached by Google. The sponsor and partner links right now are $125/year and there also might be another option coming soon to advertise on the Appraiser category instead of in your state for $49.99/year I just haven't set it up yet on the submit page.

- There is no licensing minimum

With that I have one more question... do you gear any marketing towards loan officers as that is the meat of where our business comes from? Also, Appraisers in my area have rarely been considered 'affordable' especially to our California Loan Officers...

I do market the loan officers/ mortgage agents as well. My directory has a section for them as well. So them adding their sites they will also see the other categories and I'm hoping to turn this into a real estate search engine.
