I was headed to my son's basketball game in N. Georgia yesterday and realized that I had not had one call to set up a showing, or to ask about one of my listings. It must be Christmas!! I'm reading a little book called, "Follow The Star" by T.D. Jakes. He helped me see some of the beauty and simplicty of this time of year, when we adults get excited about making Christmas special for our children and sometimes forgetting what makes it so special to me. God came to us. I don't want to miss a moment of the significance of Christmas. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace came to earth to bring me to my Creator.  Oh well, even if the phone rings of the hook, I don't want to get so busy that I miss the season of giving and receiving!  Christmas blessings to all.  DH

I had traffic at an open house yesterday and have had an incredibly busy week (contracts and one I am still counteroffering on) but have noticed the phone calls have quietened down this weekend - but there is only this weekend and next before Christmas.......

I like you would rather enjoy my family and the real reason for Christmas......we don't commercial Christmas anymore.....

It has been a little quiet here as well.  Although I would love my phone to ring with opportunity, the lack of calls has allowed me to get some personal things done.  Today, I am holding an open house with hopes that it will be busy.  Tis the season to truly enjoy the meaning of Christmas and get focused on the true meaning.

It is quiet here too, and like Connie, I don't really mind it! I take this time to enjoy the wonderful season, and gear up for next year by doing alot of the things that get pushed to the side when business is hopping.

Have a lovely Christmas holiday with your family and may the new year ring that phone off the hook.

It has been quiet here as well.  Usually in December we don't schedule open houses but today there is a neighborhood open house and we have a listing so I will be holding it open.  I'm interested to see how much traffic we get today since I was at the mall yesterday and it seemed like everyone in town had the same idea.  But busy or not, I will make sure to spend some quality time with loved ones this year!
