Let's Talk About Software

By
Real Estate Agent with Harrington ERA,DE Homes For Sale, $$ Save $$ Buy Today !

Time is important to us Realtors. We always NEED more Time Don't We?  Various software keeps us on our toes and maximizes our time.  I was looking at the advertising on Active Rain and we often see ads for Realty Juggler and others.  I wanted to see what software you enjoy using in your business and why you like that software.  I use a software called Prophet Professional to help me manage my business and it has been great but I am also open to what others are using and would love to see what software is popular.

Top Producer, Act, Goldmine, and many others out there.  Tell me what you Enjoy Using and Tell Me How it saves you time!

If you know of a super time saving software... I want to hear about it!

2009 is a year for us all to grow as the technology is changing the Real Estate industry!

We all must keep moving forward!

I will be checking back from time to time on this blog!  Your Comments Really Will be appreciated!

Thank-You,

Tom Davis

Has anyone heard of fastreive? I was asked to go into it and get a bpo for an AM.  Did some research but it appears to be a document repository tool. I'm new at reo work so any information will be appreciated!

Thanks,

Cathy

Tom, I am a http://vobre.com fan. Between that and software I already possess I'm good. However, I am an Independent Solo Broker and do not need a huge/wide system.

I have been using Top Producer 8i for about the past five months after spending two years cobbling an Excel/Outlook system and trying anything I could find to see if I liked it.

I don't "enjoy" the cost of Top Producer. The $35 a month forever seems steep to me. However, I really like how it helps me to take my database and turn it into a marketing system. The bredth of its options are great.

I quit using Top Producer when they went to the on line version and started charging a monthly fee. I use Outlook for most everything but have recently also started using free Google tools like their calendar and documents for clients.

Wow, Certainly some great responses...

Toby ... I heard with the older version you don't have to pay that monthly fee.  I think Top Producer 7 doesn't require a fee... could anyone correct me?

Suzi, I will have to take a look at that site!  Thank-you for your kind suggestion.

Catherine,

I have not heard of it but maybe some other realtor or software company reading this might know more about it.

Thanks All of you... will check back again in 15 minutes!

Thanks for your post it is great to learn about the business end of things from an active Realtor.  I am an active loan officer and am going through the same stage to save time and money as well as keeping in contact to those in my database.

AW, shucks... You are welcome. I am glad you visited because the guys who run the program are super. Head guy happens to be a Tom. There is no incentive for me other than recommending a single source that took care several services that I used to pay out to several different vendors. The "point", Super personal service at an overall budget savings. They're stellar. You would never know I am a small client

Believe me, I "test" thoroughly, the service and patience of any vendor before I recommend them. Speaking of testing, did you notice they offer a 7 day trial period?

*PS: I have a confession to make. I have this thing about fully using the resources I have... I haven't walked my talk. Vobre is an extensive resource that I have not used fully. This year coming year, in the super devine 2009--Iwill use all facets of Vobre--and I will be more organized.

Tom - I'm using Microsoft outlook. I'm looking into getting Top Producer. I just don't know if I want to spend the $35. a month.

I also use Microsoft Outlook.  Actually, that's one of the main reasons why I haven't even considered Top Producer.  I really want to keep using Outlook.  Has anyone taken a look at Active Agent or Top Producer?  Both of these seem to allow you to use outlook with them.

Justin.

Sorry,

I mean to say Active Agent or RealtyJuggler.  Not Active Agent or Top Producer.

Glen,

I want to personally say "Thanks" for recommending "Real FutureCRM!" It looks awesome and I love the fact that it's "Free" up until 500 contacts. Also, at a price of $159.00 per year to upgrade to "Unlimited," that's only $13.25 a month! Beats any program I know for all the features it affords. Thanks Again!
