I want a foreclosure or short sale condo on the water, direct beach from in Saint Petersburg.

Do they exist? I just did a quick search last night, and I found more than 10 short sales or pre foreclosure listings in the Saint Pete beach, Treasure Island and Madeira beach area that are direct beach front. A lot of people think that the waterfront homes and condos here in Saint Petersburg are not affected by this market situation, well, wrong. There are distressed properties in the Sunset Vistas, Las Brisas of Madeira, La Vistana, Fairwinds condo, Las Olas, Sea Scape, Sea Rocket, San Remo Beach front condos just to name a few. The asking prices for a one bedroom start at $250,000 and it goes up to $1,100,000 for a 3 bedroom 3 bath over 3500 square feet unit.
