Appreciating Sacramento

Being in Northern California is such a blessing, weather-wise. As my friends back east are informing me of frozen faucets, I appreciate our more mild winters.

Don't get me wrong, I am a sunshine addict, for sure, but I will trade in my sunshine for some clouds and rain so long as it comes with the occasional rainbows!

This weekend we drove out of Carmichael, the area I live in and try to stay closest to with my real estate clients, and headed to Clarksburg for an afternoon of visiting some friends. The drive over the river was just magical. I rarely get over to the Delta area, but on this day, the sky was crystal clear and the water smooth. The green trees lined all along the river made me think I'd died and gone to heaven.

I LOVE SACRAMENTO, I screamed to a startled husband.

Besides the great weather we are so often blessed to experience, you have to admit, we got it all.
Drive an hour in several directions and you can have most anything you want.

For instance, Sacramento to Napa, about an hour.

Sacramento to San Francisco, about an hour.

Sacramento to Lake Tahoe, okay, so maybe two hours, but so worth it!

I can catch a plane and shoot down to LA in about an hour.

And let's not forget the beach! Dillion's Beach is our favorite, because we love to go through Petaluma, and again, about an hour and a half.

I love Sacramento, and I'm especially fond of my long-time home in Carmichael. I'll share why in another post.

That said, I try to focus my expertise in the Carmichael and Arden Arcade areas because I've lived here my entire life and know these areas like the back of my hand. In fact, when I have time, I house hunt just for fun!

If I can help you with your real estate needs for these wonderful areas, just give me a buzz or visit my site for home-buyers and sellers at www.Tamarad.com

Thanks and make it a wonderful week!
