Our great government should consider a new economic stimulus and bailout program for millions of homeowners facing foreclosure over the coming months.

Along with lowering gasoline prices nationwide, congress should also seriously consider a measure to give gasoline discount coupons to Americans who can't refinance, and who are about to be thrown out of their homes by their lenders, so their families can live out of their cars more cheaply.

Detroit should soon begin installing backseat toilets in sedans and microwave ovens in the trunks of new vehicles in anticipation of the new American lifestyle.

David this is absolutely great!  I keep saying why all this fuss about the car manufacturers?  We CAN live without new cars.  We need more attention on the housing industry.  I know a lot of Homebuilders out of business....no bail out has been offered to them.

Thanks for giving me a chuckle!

Merry Christmas David!!  Thank you for making me smile-but your point is very serious and the  housing crisis is truly epidemic. Greed has run our Country far too long.

The new vehicles should be arriving in the showrooms soon, Allen, as soon as the government starts paying for the conversions.

Sad reality of the times, Debbie, is that those who least deserve indemnification are the ones at the top of the list to benefit from it.
