Staging a home properly

Hello Fellow Agents

What do you all tell sellers who have a house that is not staged right and they think it is? Or if they like the bold colors on the walls and they don;t understand how other people can't like it?

You gently tell them that they can surely stand with their choices, but the buyers may take it out on the amount of the offer. Maybe they could make a painting allowance.
