Homestead Gardens of Annapolis

When I moved to Davidsonville a few years ago little did I know I would be blessed with the seasonal Christmas display of Homestead Gardens. This little bit of Christmas cheer is on display for all to enjoy who pass by.

Offering anything and everything a gardener could want throughout the year including a top knotch landscaping service, Homestead Gardens pulls out all the stops at this time of year.

Each holiday season Homestead holds a Christmas Open House where the festivities are delightful with local restaurants serving yummy apetizers and beautiful music performed by local musicians. An awesome train display is always a favorite stop as we wander around the acres of fresh cut Christmas trees, fresh greenery, beautiful decorations and one of a kind gifts.

Located just minutes outside Annapolis on Rt 214 Homestead Gardens is a must go to destination any time of year but especially enjoyable right now.

HOw awesome, I think one of the reason I loved Disneyland for so many years was the gardens and the lights. Its wonderful to see the lights at Christmastime, reminds me of being happy and festive and gives a joyful feeling. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great minds think alike, I guess. I went to Homestead earlieir this week to take photos inside and just posted them. I'm gonna go back and link to this because I love your exterior night photos!

Gail- Each time I pass the display I feel the same way.

kate- well I just may try changing the size and see how it looks.

Margaret- That is too strange. I was thinking when I was posting how I wish I had inside photos as well so I will link to you and viola we have Homestead covered inside and out.

Martha...you and Margaret Woda did an awesome job in capturing what a magical place this must be! If I head up to New York next year for the holiday, I'll have yet another reason to stop in Maryland!

Very beautiful. And just amazing photos. Wish I could see this in person.

Martha, Love Homestead Gardens through out the year but have not been there for the holiday decorations. Thanks for sharing with us. I am going to join you and Margaret Woda with some other holiday places in the Baltimore area. Between us we can almost cover Maryland.
