Sotterly Plantation is the only remaining Tidewater Plantation that is open to the public. The main house was built in 1703. They host many educational programs and tours. Every spring Sotterley Plantation opens to the public for a quilt show, usually in May. There are many vendors and quilts are juried into the show.
