I have had lots of hints from lots of lenders over the past few days about interest rates dropping under 5% - but I just got the first actual confirmation from a lender offering a 30 year fixed at 4.5%. It looks like it's actually here. Hard to believe that they would ever be so low, but encouraging that our fed is willing to go the distance to help out home buyers!

Wow!  Who is offering that?  Now watch the buyers hold out for 3.75% ???!!!!!

Our companies are offering 4.5% rate right now.  I do not know how long it will last.
