The link above is step two in our Outside Blog Minion Report project. We've created our own Active Rain Channel to park our blog reviews in. We're developing the Service and Trade Marks for the up-coming e-zine and hope to eventually expand our writing pool by providing the music, graphics and videos for other Club Chaos members to participate in monthly review writing assignments.
If we get enough writers and local sponsors we plan to also turn it into a small bi-monthly print magaine to promote our Active Rain blogs and personal websites. We may even feature a few listings of our contributing writer's choice. How scary is that? Lovely!
I have two Queens County companies interested in the project right now. We also have a vendor who will produce them in full color for $1.49 each. Digital printing on demand is a beautiful thing, people. Find out who prints digital desktop publications from MS Office, Quark Express, Adobe PDF files, etc in your area and go use them. Think you don't know what to write? Why not start with what you have already written (LOL). Original content is King.
You guys can thank Liz Moras and Lizette Fitzpatrick for me floating down this particular road. By the way, if anyone mentions to you doing restaurant reviews is a waste of time or blog post space, or "unprofessional" because you are a Realtor, tell them they will possibly be missing an opportunity to cultivate loyal sponsors who will pay for advertising space in newsletters and magazines. My foodie paradise peeps are pledging funds for advertising in the print versions for what I am cooking up. We plan to launch in the Summer of 2009.

Our first PDF group project for January 2009: We are going to be creating a free Real Estate PDF giveaway based upon your answers to a list of questions being developed. It will be "In Sum and Substance" writing where the participants who answer the questions best will each be given collective credit for their answers being assimilated into the work. One question per page/slide. We will be looking for committee members to help moderate the assembling of the pages and selecting the best answers. They will be credited as Associate Editors of this publication.We will be creating a channel specifically for this series of writing as well.
