Social Networking Webinar Tonight

Hey folks,

I just got an email announcing that Perry Belcher is doing a free webinar tonight at 9pm Eastern. I follow Perry on Twitter & he's a very entertaining guy. Considering he's NOT in real estate, I'll be on the call just to get a perspective about social media from someone other than a Realtor... (Much like me - he views places like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc as social platforms to drive traffic to your blog/website in ways that simply can't be done via traditional SEO methods (or traditional marketing methods for that matter.)

If you're still wondering about how you can apply mediums like Twitter & Facebook to your business, this might be of interest to you. Just thought I'd share.

Greg - it's not my seminar, nor am I an affiliate. I was just announcing it because a lot of my topics have been about social networking, and a lot of my readers are still wondering if it's for them. Thanks for dropping by though.

I wish I knew, but considering the number of video posts he puts on his blog, I'd bet it will. (Then again, knowing that Ryan Deiss is partnering with him, they may be recording it, and selling the seminar for gazillions of dollars.) ;-)

I think that it is often useful to get other perspectives on the use of social media from people outside the real estate biz. I often learn a lot when I do this. In fact I'm always looking at other business models for little things that I could possibly apply to my real estate business. If you have an open mind and are a little bit creative you can find ideas just about anywhere.
