West Caldwell residents - looking for something fun to do during the long cold winter? How about learning how to paint? Well, you're opportunity is here...local artist and art teacher - Margie Samuels - is offering watercolor painting classes that are designed to meet the needs of inexperienced and experienced painters alike. The winter semester will consist of eight classes. Four sections are available - Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday mornings from 9:15 to 11:30 or Thursday evenings from 7 to 9:15. Classes will be held at Ms. Samuels Studio at 17 Boxwood Drive and will begin the week of Monday January 12. Tuition will be $195 for the winter session. I used to paint, but when I graduated from college, I had to find a real job and a way to pay the bills. My mom still has many of my oil paintings and water colors on the wall, which might not say too much about them -- LOL. I did sell one for $50 back in 1988 when I moved to San Diego.
