The Short North has had the Gallery Hop for something like 21 years now and other cities, regionally, call similar events by the same name - Gallery Hop.  Cincinnati and Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky all have Gallery Hops.  Ten years ago, the Short North Business Association registered the name with the State and they recently asked Grandview Heights not to use the term Gallery Hop to describe their event.

So now, on the LAST Saturday of the month, Along Grandview Avenue between 1st and 5th Avenues, 20 businesses and seven galleries will open their doors to Art Hoppers.  I'm sure this event will regularly be well attended.
