Wow ... lots of snow.  In our area (North Texas - Dallas) we close schools with just a little ice on the roads.  Guess we figured out the free card pass long ago.

NJ- I wish I was getting rich off all this snow. With all the uncertainty concerning the big three which is still a huge part of the economy around here combined with all the other economic stress business has definitly been slower then I'd like, and down quite a bit even from last year.... We still have openings in Davison, Grand Blanc, Burton and Flint (yup all the citys I service have openings still).

Chris,

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage.  Good thing you have those plows, you'll probably need them on your big day. Doesn't look as if the weather is going to calm down anytime soon.

Take care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris,

18 tonight and like 4 degrees tomorrow. I know what you mean about people cutting back, I really havent seen anyone in my surrounding neighborhood having their driveway plowed. Seems to be everyone has got a shovel in their hand. Me included, my neighbor doesn't work for Jack Daniels anymore I guess, oh well. It's good exercise, if you don't have a heart attack doing it!!!!!! I even bought the 3 year old grandson a "mini snow shovel" and he's learning young, he loves it though. He takes the snow and carries it out to the road and dumps it in the road. LOL Hope all is well with you and Ashlee. Again, CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!

NJ- Its good to get him into it early. My parents did the same thing w/ me and I still enjoy it, although I definitly prefer plowing or snow blowing over shoveling lol. It is good exercise, but for seniors and those w/ heart problems definitly not the best choice as it can be a deadly combination w/ the cold. Unfortunately we have had several people die this winter in my area from heart attacks while shoveling :(

Thank you, we had a small ceremony last Friday :D

Chris,

That's cool, small ceremonies are the best!  You are both very lucky to have each other, CONGRATS to you both.

NOW, could ya make the snow go away????? *LOL*

NJ- Thanks :D

Well here it is supposed to be between 33-35 for the high temp. depending on who you listen to and if they are even right (the other day they said small flurries on and off, no accumulation.... we got about 2-3" lol). So yeah today (Sunday) some of it should be melting atleast lol

Chris,

Yep, some of it melted, so I went out and tried to break up some of the huge, deep icy spots so I can maybe drive my car again someday soon.  The way our drive is, there is a drop off to the road and I just know all that built up ice is gonna rip my muffler and stuff off. My car sits so very low to the ground. There was a guy that was suppose to come by today and plow it all out but he was a no-show. Guess, he must not need the cash. Whether "PHIL" sees his shadow or not, I know we are still in for MORE than 6 more weeks of winter. No rest for the wicked  :-P  Keep Plowing!!!!!!
