Listen To The Quiet This Holiday Season

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

A technique that I have felt is helpful along the way in understanding people and events in life is reading between the words, listening to what isn't said, and watching for the "quiet" times. It is often in the quiet moments that you catch a glimpse of the profound or the beauty of the universe. It was there all along, but you finally noticed it. I would encourage you to

Good Morning Gary-What an absolutely magnificent post. So simple a message but one that can get lost in the shuffle of life and especially at the holiday season.

Listen To The Quiet This Holiday Season( I love this line so much because it is in the quiet times that we learn the most about ourselves and other people. But most importantly it is in the quiet times that we can hear God's voice.)      BE STILL AND KNOW I AM GOD

Your blogs and YOU as a person are like a bright light to so many everyday. So in the quiet of the season I will remember your words and YOU. Because of these words of yours(below)

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched.. but are felt in the heart "

Doesn't get any better than that, God Bless you Gary, each and everyday. But most of all in the quiet times of the season and everyday. ((((SMILE AND HOLIDAY HUG)))) from me to you.

Hi Mel: You are a terrific listener I think.

Toula: Sure thing.

Lori: Happy Friday to you and have a restful day.

Integrity Mortgage: Glad you liked the pix.

Remo: Some photos do calm us down, you are right.

Cherimie: Enjoy your quiet day too.

Teri: Merry Christmas my Ham Lake friend. Taking time to enjoy is a good way to put it.

Denise Gray: I too love that weather pelting sound.

Shawn: Hugs back to you ((((HUGS)))

Kathy: In the pictures you can feel a special touch.

Denise Shockey: Hi my Cocoa Beach friend. Search the quiet out. Listen. It IS there.

Christine: I know about the chaos in the world, but it isn't always like that. Look for the glimmers of quiet.

JL: Stopping talking helps add to the quietness.

Sharon Paxson: I am glad you are enjoying such peacefulness in your California area.

Richard: A peaceful office. Gets your mind set for the day.

Hi Sharon Lee: Love that Psalm about stillness. (((Hug))) back at you.

Susie: Hope North Carolina keeps the white stuff for awhile.

Betina: Thank you.

Chris Ann: Carve out some quiet time and listen.

Margaret: I love "listening" to the sound of steady rain.

Kate: You have heaven where you are then.

William: Look for the quiet. I love it in a snowfall. Very quiet time. Muffled.

Debe: A whisper REALLY gets people's attention. These are general photos.

Carole: Slowing down as you pointed out is a key here.

Hi Susan: If you listen to the quiet, I know it sounds strange, you will hear. I hear all the time, and it seems others don't hear what I am hearing. I know, voices in my head LOL. Get my meds. But I am serious, you can hear the beauty, or feel it in your heart. You probably already are good at this cause you reminisced when Mike was younger at his graduation so you know what I am talking about. The pictures were to try and help others understand.

Gary thanks for this beautiful and thoughtful post. I managed to get some  time myself while waiting to pick my son up from the airport. I had forgotten to bring my laptop or phone so it was nice to just people watch and reflect!
