Indeed it is. Interestingly, back in February I helped a friend file a "pro se" bankruptcy, meaning he did it himself, meaning that I did all the work and he just reviewed it and signed the papers. His bankruptcy was discharged in October. A couple of days later he had all sorts of credit card offers, home financing offers, new car offers. Just amazing. Of course, it kind of made sense because he still had his good-paying job but no debt, just what credit companies are looking for. Whatever.
