Ok, no matter what your political affiliation, you have to agree that the Governor of Illinois is funny and sad at the same time. The latest news is that the governor is claiming that he is not guilty of any wrong doing. Ok, how stupid does he think we all are, now admitedly I do not reside in Illinois, but I have spent some time in Chicago. Now the rumor is that Chicago politics is the most dirty and corrupt in the country. This is what I have heard and people from Illinois can correct me if they would like.
Here is a funny Chicago joke: How do you know when Chicago is in a recession? The mob lays off judges. Ok so back to the Illinois governor, does he really expect us to believe that he is innocent. I am sure that Patrick Fitzgerald has better things to do than frame a governor of a very large state. Here is the link to the article http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1208/Blago_I_am_not_a_crook.html It just baffles me really.
To top it off, Congress has once again voted themselves raises. Can all of us vote to increase our comission?

I remember reading once that NO ONE ever thinks they're guilty, or to blame. You can ask convicted murderers and they'll claim it was someone else's fault. People re-live events the way they want to remember them, not how they actually happened. Thus, the taped phone calls are the greatest invention.
Even OJ never thought he was guilty.
