Shirley - I am so amused that Washington DC is on this list considering Todd Clark's latest post. Check it out if you get a minute. San Antonio is certainly a beautiful city having visited there in the past.

Shirley - As if you and I didn't already see the value here!  Forbes loves San Antonio.  We are constantly being credited with good things by them.  Keep 'em coming Forbes, we love hearing it.  Just keep us off the "overweight" list, alright?  Its not our fault we love breakfast tacos, kolaches, and tamales.)

Matt, Very funny.  I think we have passed the most overweight city designation on to another city. Haha.  There is too much good food here!

KM -- I am so happy that our city has been doing so well compared to others but I hope our entire nation with recover soon.

Hi Judy -- I will check out Todd's post.  I always thought D.C. was pretty insulated against a bad economy because of it being the home of all those government employees.  I love the DC area having lived there for six years.

Hi Shirley, that is good news!!!   I like seeing San Antonio on the list in the Number 3 position!!!  We have so much to offer here in our beautiful city.

Matt, you just made me hungry -- our early morning real estate sales meetings usually include either Breakfast Tacos or Kolaches.  Lunches usually include Tamales -- guess that's why I've gained a little weight during my 8 years in real estate.  :)

Judi, When I was in the office on Wednesday, there were Christmas cookies, peanut butter filled pretzels, some kind of asian snack, and a basket with cookies and loaves of zucchini, bananut nut, and sweet potato bread. I can't figure out if that is good or bad.

Shirley, oh my goodness!!!  That's a lot of snacks for our office!!!   Whew, glad I didn't stop by on Wednesday.  I stopped in on Tuesday afternoon to check in -- didn't go back to the kitchen area.  Probably should have -- I'd been showing houses all day and was getting hungry.

Judy,

Thanks for mentioning me in the comment, I do have to say I think Washington DC is pretty safe, because they will just print more money if they have a problem.

San Diego, CA

My two favorite cities -- San Diego and Vancouver, British Columbia -- not on that list, but of that top 10, I could do Portland, San Antonio, or Seattle.

If I had to live anywhere in the South, it would be San Antonio. I got addicted to the River Walk back in 1994 when my husband, born and raised in Texas and a graduate of Texas A&M, first took me there.

Best wishes for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity in 2009.

Hi Jim, The Riverwalk is always alive with activity it seems.  Best wishes to you as well! :-)

Hi Russel, I have been to all of the cities you name with the exception of Vancouver BC.  I have been to Victoria BC.  I like all of these.

Hi Todd, Funny comment.

Judi, I have a feeling we will probably never go hungry at our office.
