6 Comments on A Plea From Your Local Realtor - STOP Reading the Newspaper
Laura:
You title is so ironic. "If you really want to know what's going on in your local market - call your Local Realtor." That's exactly what the largest newspaper in South Carolina did. I received a call from a reporter from The State Newspaper. They wanted some quotes from me for today's newspaper. If you send me your email address, I'll send you the article. I'd love to get your opinion of the piece.
Laura,
I want people to stop reading national real estate market news. Real estate is local.

I'd love to see it! My email is LRubinchuk@gmail.com
Thanks for reading!

Laura, I saw this article yesterday -- I subscribe to the Washington Post's real estate feed -- you can see Saturday's articles on Friday. While the papers sometimes have a pulse on the makret, they generally need to talk to us to get a clearer idea of what's really going on -- and even then often spin the story to fit their agenda.
Great Advice! Bucks and Montgomery Counties in PA Has some great properties moving too. Really it is not all doom and gloom out there. You Local Realtor that is full time is ready to help and give you great advice. For the agents that are leaving the business it's ok! More clients for us.
And it's not just newspapers. The national news journalists just don't understand that real estate is local. Like the weather.
