CandlelightChristmas is about  light. Light entered the world of darkness to save it.

Think of the light within you. Your spirit. Your good attitude. What you know that can help people. Your smile. Your laugh. Your special touch. A hug. A bit of caring. A special talent within.

We all have light. Recognize it. Turn it up a few notches.

Shine Your Light On Those You Meet This Holiday Season.

Tip Candle

And just as is done in many candlelight vigils someone will be reaching out to you with their unlit candle. They need you. They NEED your light.

Be there for them this holiday season. It is a more quiet week or two where you get to practice the very BEST that you have to offer others. Re-connect with those you haven't seen in awhile. Bring them your smile. Bring them your light.

Bring them your LOVE.

Shine your light wherever you go!!

Hi Gary - Great message and a good reminder of what even just the light of a smile can do for someone else.  I was @ Walgreen's today and had a $5 off coupon if I spent over $20, I soon realized I wasn't going to make it to $20 so I gave my coupon away to a lady w/a young girl.  It made me feel good and she was really appreciative.  KM

Gary, The light that shines within yourself is such an inspiration to all of us.                             Earlier today I stopped at Kmart for some batteries, in front of me at the cash register was a mother and little girl. The child did not quite understand the message her mother was trying to get across to her that their was no money this year for the doll she wanted.  After checking out, I handed the mother $50 and ask that the child have the doll on Christmas day, as tears started to swell for her I hugged her saying Merry Christmas and left.  I have a feeling deep within that the child will have the doll on Christmas day.  May the joys of the holiday season be with you and your family.

Gary—Just checking in to see what's new. As always you've given us a very timely post. I let my light shine today by shopping for children's toys and food, then donating them. I spent more than I thought I should have and then rethought the situation... so many without are more important that anything i may do without for a few days. Tomorrow i'll help after church at the CCA...they call us Angels. I call the opportunity JOY.

Hey Gary, I always get caught up in the hustle bustle of the Holiday Season but the week before Christmas I always think about the real meaning of the season and this is my favorite time. There are so many people that need our lights - people that need food, clothes, children who would love to hold one special toy, and animals in shelters would love to have a forever home. This is where I try to shine my light. Merry Christmas to You!
