Listen, I'll be honest, I don't think that this is the most germane to Charlotte NC Real Estate, but Tyler Hansbrough just beat the all time points record in the history of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Phil Ford, the basketball legend who held the previous record was on hand to congratulate Tyler. It was a big moment for a guy who has dominated ACC basketball for the past four years. This all but assures that Tyler's jersey will be hanging in the rafters when he leaves - a big honor at UNC Chapel Hill, where there are only six jerseys there. 

In other news Duke beat the crap out of Xavier 84-62 today. It isn't a big win, but it says that Duke will be a contender this year. Although they do have a problem. They lack a big post presence, which will put them at a significant disadvantage when they play Carolina in conference play.
