I bought my two white plates for this New Year's.  The 2009 plate is smaller and a different shape.  I am very anxious to get the 2008 one out and see what was manifested and what was not.  For those of you that don't know my tradition I will explain.  Before New Years I take a white plate and write on it with permanent marker everything that I wish to leave in the passing year.  Then on New Years Eve at the stroke of 12, I go outside and smash it to smitherines with a hammer.  On New Years Day I take another white plate and write on it with permanent marker, all of the things that I wish to attract for the new year and then place it in my china cabinet.
