In a sequel to our most popular series: What are you willing to do to sell Real Estate. Good Real Estate Commercials., we now continue with BAD real estate commercials presented to you in such a way that it will make you think twice about how you advertise them. Certain properties may or may not also have a negative impact on such a campaign regardless of how incrediblly well edited the video is. Some properties are simply doomed to fail.

The above Videos should not be taken seriously unless you feel they should. Seriously though, as noted, these are videos that reflect what NOT to do. But by all means feel free to try them if you wish and i'll make sure to add your video to the esteemed group above. :)

Also if you ever wondered how your property is viewed by your lender, tax accessor, appraiser, buyer, seller then take a look at this short documentary which explains it.

Finally, if you're not laughing already then the following link will certainly put you over the top. Once Norm is finished talking, click on next till you go through all the pictures. ROFL. Bad Picture Gallery

Fran, we try very hard to find GEMS! :) They are apparently not just between a rock and a hard place. We're still laughing since we posted this. Since most people are depressed this time of year due to stress, work, family and simply due to short and cloudy days, we felt the need to cheer people up. Besides there's enough christmas elf videos floating around the web from jibjab that we felt this was more original. Subscribe to our blog for future GEMS like this oh and check out the other video link in the series as mentioned in the first paragraph.

This was very funny. Its sad to say that we see these kinds of pictures on our MLS all the time. What were the Sellers thinking when they hired the Agent. Thanks for the laugh.

Brenda, sad but true. haha. It's unfortunate, in an ironic twist that another post has the feature right now or i was hoping to expect this on the board, but nonetheless if people want humor they'll find this post. Pass it on.

Your Texas Lifestyle is Here!

Hey,

On the first one, they left out how "green" the home is, right down to the natural roof covering.

What's wrong with this one anyway?  Looks like a lot of places here in NE Texas.  A little paint and she's good to go!

ONe thing to note: The videos can be used for your benefit as the language used to describe the terrible properties are very well scripted. The word "abound" may be overused, lol, but again, these may be good references for when creating your own slideshow tutorial and writer's, er videocommenting block comes on.
