Week 16 in the NFL has already been effected by the Thursday and Saturday games. Indy has solidified the 5th spot in the AFC, leaving all the rest of the teams in the AFC hunt for the playoffs with only one spot at a wild card.....knowing the AFC east (a great battle for the conference) and west ( a bad division throughout) are still to be decided.
I really thought the emotion of the final regular season game at Texas Stadium would propel the Cowboys to show up....they did not and thus the Ravens took a big step to that 6th AFC spot.
The BIG games this week......Steelers at Titans, both teams are in and have bye's in the first round.....so this is for home field in what could be a preview of the AFC Championship game....will they show everything because a possible finals match-up?
Giants hosting the Panthers......the Giants need to stop their skid and the Panthers need to keep home field advantage, that they gained during the Giant skid......weather will be a factor here.
AFC East battle has all three contenders in a game that they should all win, yet the weather will be a HUGE factors in all three games......I see all three a winner with the Jets the only stretch for me.....the Dolphin running game will keep them moving forward, the Pats do not loose too much at home and the Cardinals seem to have mailed in the balance of the season and they have traveled east meaning they just forget to bring a game with them......the Jets have more than just the weather....the Favre - Holgram history could make a difference in a Jets win....
I see an Atlanta win since the Vikings seen to be on safe ground and a Tampa Bay loss because the Chargers are still in the mix with the listless Broncos for the AFC West.....this scenerio leaves the Cowboys still in the mix evem with an Eagle win in Washington today....the Skins have seemed to fold and should not be a factor this week.
Just for fun.....The Saints will keep the Lions winless.....no hope with the best passing game and a solind running game w/Thomas.
