2009 Business Plan....What's the BIG change for you?

This is a question that I am wrestling with right now.

I know a big part of our 2009 business plan is going to be media exposure.

Hello Dan - How about ONLINE DOMINANCE? We are implementing several social network into our 2009 business plan.  We have set weekly and monthly goals as to how many blogs each team member has to have, how many comments we have to make on Active Rain, In addition, we have explore outside to Facebook, Trulia, Twitter, to set up our personal profile and expand our network circles...!

Hi Dan,  Back to basics for us.  Eliminating time and money for print.  More open houses and face time.

Our business is cyclical and rather than beat myself up when it's down, I plan on taking advantage to make it to the beach more often!  It's certainly easier to do that now than when we're bursting with business.

We are making a heavy push into various online venues. Having a link on local websites to increase our online presence. I am also creating my own personal website, in addition to our company's website. We'll see how it goes.

For me, it's back to basics, lead generation 101.  Getting my contact data base going in Top Producer, and feeding it every day.

Lead generation and on line presence are key to my 2009 plan.  I'm still doing some fine tuning, but those elements are key!

Dan, I'm going a little different direction with what I'm doing.  I am taking a course called the course of a lifetime and it is all about affirmations with a spiritual twist.  So I guess you could say I'm affirming my goals.

Dan I still havent done my business plan for 2009. My business plan is like a puzzle. I have all the pieces together but I just haven't put it all together yet. Some of the things that I am going to definitely do is advertise more online on Washingtonpost.com and even www.trulia.com, www.facebook.com, and/or www.propertynut.com. My budget is very low right now so I have to do some things that wont require money such as prospecting (20 business cards a day),Open houses (Once or maybe twice a month),Drop off pre-listing packages to expired listings,withdrawn and for sale by owners every week. www.forsalebyowners.com is a good website to find for sale by owners and cold calling. I have to practice more great scripts everyday.

Of course continue to blog on Active Rain for search engine ranking and hire a Real Estate Coach later on in the year. Much success to you Dan. Have a safe,blessed and prosperous 2009.

And of course I am going to go back and doing daily positive and spiritual affirmations,take a short sale course from an attorney and attend more meetup functions. Though I add that.

I have just finished my Business Plan for 2009. It focused on traditional and internet advertising. I am also limiting my BPO work as it takes too much time and not much money unless it leads to REO's.
