For those of you that are in Washington state looking outside of your window frustrated with the storm...I offer these photos to remind you that someone is in worse shape that you.  Here is a garage that had a pipe in the attic space that was not insulated.

 

 

One more reason to make sure that you hire a really good home inspector.  There will be lots of leaking pipes in the next few days  If your home is vacant make sure someone checks on it!

Jean - an unfortunate sight, but only one of many that we'll have this winter. It hurts to think of all the unattended foreclosures that will suffer catastrophic damage.
