Women of all ages, if you are looking for a little attention from men of all ages there is one surefire way to do it. I absolutely guarantee success.

#1 solution of all time...Simply buy a Toyota Prius. (Perhaps Marilyn Monroe standing over the grate may vie with this for first place. If you look like Marilyn Monroe you may consider going that route...it will be a lot cheaper except where do you find grates these day????? Unless you live in New York City you would have to factor in airfare.)

Now that I have shared with you how to get those men to pay attention I must temper it with the following: You will attract a great deal of attention. However, that does not translate into affection. So, if affection is what you are after you may do better shopping at Victoria's Secret (never have as my hubby is affectionate enough) and not at your local Toyota dealership.

Yes, the attention may be fleeting and quickly shift to the "car" but that's OK. If you have a Prius that is exactly where you want it to be. Men seem to be intrigued by that thing called an engine and are also amazed that all 6' plus of them actually fits comfortably inside and yes, it does hold more than the driver and a passenger. Who would have thought.

But wait...perhaps you will find lasting love. What man wouldn't love a woman that can brag about averaging 50 miles an hour on just one gallon of gas!

Oh Kate, you are sharing all your men magnets with the ladies. Cool. Men do like interesting cars, so I think you are definitely on to something. Re-blogging your own content to yourself? You are an original.

Hi Gary...I should also let the men know that there are certain features that the women like. It has hands free phoning. All you have to do is hit the "telephone" button on the steering wheel and you can make or take a phone call.

I had no idea what I was buying when I bought Lucy. I simply asked for everything and the phone option was one of them. I didn't realize that until I picked up the car which was sometime after I ordered it. Back then we had to wait 2-3 months. It also had a built in GPS which I like.

Thank you for thinking I am an original. My mom still thinks so too.

Hi Susan...The Prius would look like a Hummer next to the Fiat 500 I sometimes drove when we lived in Italy. That's a pretty wild place to drive.

A car is a car is a car. As long as I don't owe any money on it I'm happy.

Not sure I buy into this lovely theory! It's also quite an expensive way to get a date if you are not in the market for a new car!

Hi Ellie...That certainly is the truth. When I bought my car my mini-van had over 100,000 miles and so I thought it was a good idea to think in terms of another vehicle. We kept the Sienna and still enjoy it.

I'm a guy, but was intrigued by your photo with the beard - now I see what it is...I can tell you that any unusual car will attract guys. Currently, the most interesting cars are those funny little Japanese utility vehicles. They are unusual, small, and look so well designed that you have to look at them.

Hi William...Guess you don't see too many women with beards especially pinkish ones.

Yes, the men seem to like the chance to ride in a hybrid. Many of them have not before and they are curious. Works for me. Hopefully some will consider it when they buy their next car.

I have a big dog- a rottweiler that weighs in at about 120 pounds. I get a lot of comments from guys about that dog of mine, especially since I am small!!
