Count Our Blessings

During these economic times, times which many of us have never experienced, it is time to find our many blessings.

Sometimes, it is hard to find those blessings especially when:

You have lost your job
You have lost a loved one
You are ill
You've lost your home to foreclosure
You got divorced
Your car was repossessed
Your family is estranged

Maybe, once you listen to this video, you too will find something to be thankful for...we really do have so very much but times we forget all the many blessings we do have.

This is a time that is difficult for some people more so than any other time of year. I strongly urge you to take the time each day and just be thankful for 1 thing and then the next day, think of another blessing you have.

I was inspired when I saw this video and I hope you are, too.

So true. This year is especially difficult for many of us, but we all have at least one thing we can be thankful for each day. Thanks for sharing and have a Merry Christmas!

Hi Gena, I have seen something like this before but I am so glad I saw it again. We all need reminders from time to time to help us keep our perspective about our lives and the many blessings we enjoy.

There was yet something at the end of the message that you can use, The gentleman that did the voice over. When I did my Buyer and and Seller shows on the web, I used a talented voice actor that I discovered in Virgina. You never know when this talent might be useful in future, especially with where technology is going. I expect Jeff Turner would help us use something like this instead of just music in our listing shows. Just an idea.

Thanks you for this , I loved it and internalized it.

Nice reminder to banish self pity and help those less fortunate--and there are many.

Honestly I don't think I have thought more about the less fortunate than in any other time in my life. There are so many suffering from this lousy economy. We do need to count our blessings.

Marjorie, yes it is difficult for many this year and many times we don't think about such a fun holiday as one that so many have difficulty getting through. Glad I sparked your blessings.

William, glad you had the opportunity to see it again. A person who found me here on AR from IA sent it to me and I thought it might touch a lot of people out there, especially this year.

Norma, yes there are. No matter how bad we think we may have it, there is always someone that has it much worse and sometimes we don't even know. Glad it has you thinking.
