Had the most awesome weekend. Started last week. I had the Christmas party for the law firm that I work at. I came prepared in a fine set of Billy Bob Teeth. Needless to say I was the hit of the party....
You should have seen me doing shots.
Then Friday night I had off, but had to go in and work most of the day Saturday while my wife had prepared for our Christmas Party in our new home. We had 40 people over and it was a smash. Then, my best friend, and realtor partner, Joyce Courtney, had our family and a few others over to her house last night to have her Christmas dinner.
Tomorrow is my wife's birthday and the next day I'm cooking Prime Rib on the grill for a Christmas eve dinner. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Driving around this morning I was listening to 94.3 K-Love. Just started listening during this holiday season. No one was on the road. I was the only one on the road listening to some cool Christmas tunes. During some version of some Christmas song it hit me that I'm finally in the spirit. The commercialism has left me and the true meaning has finally taken it's place here in this heart. It's always so hard to make that switch. I hate the commercialism so much that I have such a defense system in place that it's hard to let what should come in......actually come in.
My defining moment was now. I'm happy and have a peace about me. I have tooooooooo much to do right now. I just had another loan officer call me 5 minutes ago about shutting down his company and joining ours. I'm meeting with him tomorrow morning. I need to keep my peace, and, as a result properly balance my priorities right now.
