I could write soo many posts on how cool this Active Rain community is and I could spend days doing it. Active Rain has totally changed my business for the better.
Here is what happened. Another Active Rainer Tony Sena out of Las Vegas, NV sends me an e-mail asking if I was interested in starting a Short Sale Blog project with him and several other agents in the 50 states. I was a bit skeptical because I did not know Tony, but I did some research and did not see any reason why I wouldn't want to work with him on this so I did, along with several other agents. Tony Sena has been a fantastic leader in this project (follow this link) Short Sale Experts and has been very influential. He is quite busy these days but has made it a point to keep us up to date regarding how well the site is doing statistic wise on the web. One of my frustrations in the Real Estate business early on in my career was my observation that it was difficult to find other agents who would work with you without feeling like you were a threat to them. As of late, I do not feel that way about some of my Realtor Associates in the Denver Metro Area and especially not with those across the United States. Everyone I have encountered on Active Rain including those who run Active Rain have been extraordinarily helpful and polite. What an encouraging community we belong to. I know this all sounds sappy, but it is what is and I am very thankful that there are people out there who are genuinely seeking to help others.
So my wish for all of you on Active Rain and my prayer is that starting today and continuing through 2009, you will all be blessed and that you will be extremely successful inspite of what appears to be a struggling economy. We are American's and we have overcome so many hurdles as a country, when I look at our flag and think about what it means, it definitely makes me teary eyed and proud. I love this country and I am proud to have served it's interests as a veteran of the Untited States Air Force. I have a special place in my heart for those who put it all on the line for our country to defend us from evils foreign and domestic. This country of ours have seen much more difficult times than this economic crisis and there were many people who stepped up to the plate when called upon and made sacrifices that benefit us still today.
All of this to say Thank you to all of you that give your input and time on Active Rain. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah (forgive me if I mispelled it) and greetings to all others this season. Sorry, I don't believe in saying Happy Holidays, it is just a little to PC for me if you know what I mean.
